Security Camera Installation in Massachusetts
A camera system is only useful if it's pointed at the right places and still recording when you need the footage. Dosittec Computers designs and installs PoE camera systems — cabling, mounting, recorder, and remote viewing — so you can see what's happening from your phone and pull up footage when it matters.
What's included
- Site walk-through to plan coverage of entrances, registers, lots, and blind spots
- PoE camera wiring — one cable per camera for power and data
- Indoor and outdoor camera mounting, weatherproofed where needed
- NVR (network video recorder) setup with recording schedules and retention
- Remote viewing on phones and computers, set up and tested with you
- Upgrades and replacements for older analog or failing systems
Who it's for
Retail stores, restaurants, offices, warehouses, property managers, and homeowners who want reliable footage without a monthly cloud fee.
How we work
One point of contact from quote to install. We walk the space, name the actual equipment and scope up front — no vague line items — and test everything before we leave.
Common questions
Do I have to pay a monthly subscription?
Not with a recorder-based system. Footage is stored on an NVR on-site, and you view it remotely through the recorder's app. Cloud options exist if you want off-site copies, but they're optional.
How long is footage kept?
It depends on the number of cameras, resolution, and recorder storage. We size the drives so you get the retention you need — commonly a few weeks — and set it up to overwrite the oldest footage automatically.
Can you add cameras to my existing system?
Often, yes. We'll check whether your current recorder and cabling can support more cameras before recommending a replacement.
