Structured Cabling in Massachusetts
Every network problem that isn't software comes back to the cable. Dosittec Computers runs Cat6 and fiber for offices, retail spaces, and homes — planned around how the space is actually used, terminated cleanly, and tested before we leave so you know every drop works.
What's included
- New Cat6 data drops for desks, printers, cameras, and wireless access points
- Fiber runs and fiber splicing between floors, buildings, and network closets
- Patch panels, racks, and wall plates installed and labeled to match
- Every run terminated and tested to Cat6 spec
- Cleanup of existing closets: re-patching, removing dead cable, and labeling
- Cabling for office fit-outs, moves, and expansions
Who it's for
Offices adding staff or moving in, retail and restaurant build-outs, clinics, schools, and homeowners who want wired connections where Wi-Fi falls short.
How we work
One point of contact from quote to install. We walk the space, name the actual equipment and scope up front — no vague line items — and test everything before we leave.
Common questions
Cat6 or Cat6A — which do I need?
Cat6 handles gigabit and short 10-gigabit runs, which covers most offices and homes. Cat6A makes sense for long 10-gigabit runs or high-power PoE equipment. We'll recommend one based on what you're connecting, not on what costs more.
Do you test the cable after installing it?
Yes. Every run is terminated and tested to spec before we call the job done, and each drop is labeled at both ends so it's easy to trace later.
Can you work in an occupied office?
Yes. We plan runs to keep disruption low and can schedule noisy or access-heavy work around your business hours.
